Description
A snug-fitting sun visor for the 997 Chrono display. It shades the screen from direct sunlight and, just as importantly, stops the display reflecting up into your windscreen — so the readout stays crisp and glare-free on the brightest days.
Printed to survive a Porsche dashboard
The visor is 3D-printed in ASA reinforced with carbon fibre — chosen deliberately for where it lives:
- Dead-matte finish. The carbon-fibre fill gives a deep, non-reflective texture, so the visor itself never casts a reflection onto the glass.
- Heat and UV stable. ASA shrugs off the heat and sunlight of a dash top without warping or yellowing — where a cheaper PLA print would sag or fade.
- Rigid and light. Carbon reinforcement keeps it stiff and true at just a few grams.
Fits in seconds
The visor locates neatly around the display in the Sports Chrono pod — no tools, no adhesive, and completely reversible. Fitted, it looks like it was always meant to be there.
Designed for use with the 997 Chrono display. As a made-to-order 3D-printed part, minor layer texture is part of the matte finish.
