Is the display dimmable at night?

Yes. You can set the backlight level independently for lights-on and lights-off, switch between light and dark themes, and choose whether the trigger is headlights only or any lights including sidelights. A popular setup is a light theme at 100% backlight by day, switching to dark at 40% when the full headlights come on.
