I’ve replaced my factory head unit with an aftermarket radio — will the Chrono still work?

Yes. The display connects to the original Sports Chrono wiring, and that wiring carries the CANBUS information the display needs. It doesn’t depend on the factory head unit being present, so removing or replacing the PCM doesn’t stop it working.
